Please check Google and the VirtualBox Manual before asking simple questions. PLUS a detailed description of the problem, what research you have done, and the steps you have taken to fix it. * Whether you have installed Guest Additions and/or Host Extensions (this solves 90% of the problems we see) * Whether you have enabled VT-x/AMD-V (applicable to all hosts running 6.1 and above) and disabled HyperV (applicable to Windows 10 Hosts) * The version of VirtualBox you are using This is just a friendly reminder in case you missed it. I also don't know what Guest Additions and/or Host Extensions are so I either don't have any or whatever is default VT-x/AMD-V must be default since I don't know where or what that setting is and so I didn't change that What am I doing wrong with my setup, why does it have zero performance/usability? iso (1909) but seems like every Win 10 VM I make is like that I tried changing the mouse integration and inputs and made a new VM with a different. Taskmanager shows about 6% load on CPU and less than 1GB RAM used. It has no software whatsoever installed, it's a clean windows 10 21H2 with all updates The machine has been like this since I initially set it up. I don't demand performance but just moving the cursor or opening a file would be nice. The VM has 4 vCPUs and 6144 Mb RAM assigned but it is abnormally slow, even at idle the mouse pointer can't move without lagging and jumping around, every click takes several seconds to actually be executed etc. I set up a Windows 10 VM on my i9 MacBook (32 Gb RAM).
